Haven Outdoor Limited Warranty (HDPE Poly Furniture)
Warranty term
Haven Outdoor warrants its HDPE poly furniture to the original purchaser with a TEN (10) YEAR LIMITED RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY and a FIVE (5) YEAR LIMITED COMMERCIAL WARRANTY, beginning on the date of purchase.
This warranty covers the furniture top-to-bottom, including all structural components and all hardware and fasteners supplied with the product (including 316 stainless steel hardware), for the applicable warranty term.
What’s covered
During the applicable warranty period, Haven Outdoor warrants that the product will be free from material defects and will not splinter, crack, chip, peel, rot, or suffer structural damage from insects under normal use and service conditions.
Eligibility and proof of purchase
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Original purchasers must provide proof of purchase (receipt or bill of sale) from an authorized seller. Please see exclusions and limitations below.
Residential vs commercial use
Residential use means personal use at a private residence.
Commercial use includes, but is not limited to, use in businesses, public spaces, hospitality, rentals, multi-family common areas, HOA/common areas, or any other non-residential setting.
What this warranty does not cover
Haven Outdoor shall not be liable for, and this warranty does not cover, any of the following:
• Abnormal use of the product
• Improper handling, storage, installation, assembly, reassembly, or maintenance after the product leaves the factory
• Application of paint or any coating not approved for the product
• Exposure to heat or radiation from an external source, such as a grill, fire pit, other appliance, open flame, or heat reflection from windows/doors
• Fading and/or color change (UV stabilizers help minimize fading, but color change may occur with prolonged sun exposure)
• Scratching, scuffing, dents, or other cosmetic wear (scratches are not covered)
• Environmental conditions, staining from foreign substances, or normal weathering
• Normal expansion and contraction due to extreme changes in temperature and humidity
• Damage caused by incompatible accessories, intentional acts, unreasonable use, misuse/abuse, vandalism, accidents, civil disorder, or acts of God (including fire, flooding, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, lightning, ice, etc.)
• Damage caused by corrosive conditions such as industrial chemicals, chemical vapors, or acid rain
• Post-delivery labor, transportation, shipping, pickup, freight, accessorial charges, insurance, or assembly costs
• Cushions, fabrics, and other soft goods (unless expressly stated in writing by Haven Outdoor)
Note on coastal environments
Normal residential coastal exposure is not excluded. For best long-term performance, we recommend a simple freshwater rinse approximately once per quarter in coastal or salt-air climates, especially on hardware.
Shipping for warranty claims
Shipping, pickup, freight, accessorial charges, and transportation costs are not covered under this warranty. The purchaser is responsible for all costs to ship the product (or any parts) to and from Haven Outdoor or its authorized service partners, including any pickup fees, accessorial charges, packaging, insurance, and any related transportation costs.
Limitations and exclusions
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations or exclusions below may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
This warranty is effective for products purchased on or after 01/01/2024. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear from regular use.
Haven Outdoor shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including (but not limited to) loss of profit or other economic or commercial losses.
To the extent permitted by law, Haven Outdoor makes no implied warranty of merchantability or implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
Remedy
After documentation has been received and evaluated, Haven Outdoor’s sole responsibility shall be, at its option, to:
• Repair defective components
• Replace defective components
• Repair or replace defective furniture
• Authorize repairs by a third party
Haven Outdoor will notify the purchaser of the solution. If the defective product is no longer available, Haven Outdoor may replace it with a similar product of equal or greater value.
How to obtain warranty service (RMA required)
Proof of purchase (bill of sale or receipt) must be presented to obtain warranty service.
All warranty claims and returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) prior to any return shipment.
If Haven Outdoor determines that an item must be returned under this warranty, the purchaser is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipment, including packaging, pickup, and any freight or accessorial charges. All returns must have the RMA number clearly visible on the outside of the shipping box. Failure to return the requested defective product may result in forfeiture of any credit or replacement.
